What does a DJ in Mykonos cost for my event?
Every quote is individual. Three factors set the price: the length of the set (2 to 8 hours), the equipment required (nothing if the venue already has a suitable system, which is common in hotels and beach clubs, while villas and outdoor sites often need a full installation) and the practical requirements of the venue (access, permits, curfew, load-in window). Send the date, the venue or area and the number of guests, and you get a concrete figure instead of a range.
What is included in the DJ service in Mykonos?
Six things come as standard: a preparation call to build the music selection, the set ready before the day itself, setup and sound check, the full set with carefully handled transitions, coordination with the other suppliers on the day, and pack-down. If equipment is needed it is quoted separately, stating clearly what and why.
What music styles do you play in Mykonos?
House in all its variants, deep, classic, Latin, Afro, with excursions into disco, soul or techno, depending on the hour and on the crowd in front of you. This is not a general repertoire: if the plan is chart hits from beginning to end, I am not the right choice, and it is better to know that in advance.
How do you choose a DJ in Mykonos?
Not by years of experience alone. Three checks are worth making before you sign. Does the DJ ask about the venue, the curfew and the existing system, or only whether the date is free? Is there a recording you can sit down and listen to? And what is the answer, in writing, if a flight is late or a piece of equipment fails on the night?
Which areas of Mykonos do you cover?
The whole island: Psarou, Ornos, Platys Gialos, Paraga, Mykonos Marina, Chora, Agios Ioannis, Elia and Kalo Livadi. Paros, Delos and the rest of the Cyclades are considered case by case and with plenty of lead time.
Do you bring your own DJ gear and sound system in Mykonos?
Yes, I always come with my own setup: mixer, headphones and full cabling. The sound of the room depends on the place. Hotels and beach clubs usually have what is required. For villas, terraces and outdoor sites, send me the details of the space and I will tell you clearly what it takes, instead of selling you a standard speaker package.
How far in advance should you book a DJ in Mykonos?
The season in Mykonos runs from May to October, peaking in July and August, and that is when the calendar fills. For a date inside that window, 4 to 9 months in advance is ideal, especially for August. Winter has far more room.
Do you take requests from guests?
Of course, it is part of the work and not an extra. The preparation includes a list of what should be played and one of what should not, and during the night the requests that fit are worked in without breaking the flow. What does not work is changing style every three tracks, and that is said in advance.
Do you also play smaller private parties in Mykonos?
Yes, from a dinner for thirty in a villa through to a large reception. With small groups the work is more about reading the room than about volume: the level must leave space for conversation and still hold the evening together.
Which languages can you announce in?
Mainly English, with German and basic Greek where they help. Announcements stay discreet; at most private and corporate events, the fewer the better.
Can you issue an invoice?
Yes, whenever you need one. Private clients and companies both get a proper invoice, carrying whatever details your accounting or procurement department requires.
Do you play Greek music in Mykonos?
Yes, where it fits the room. Reworked Greek classics and hits are woven into the set at moments the crowd is waiting for, without becoming a separate block. If you prefer a purely international evening, that is just as welcome: tell me which mix you want and the set is prepared accordingly.
How long does a DJ set last?
Every booking runs 2 to 8 hours, whether it is a pool session, a villa party or a corporate evening with pauses around the speeches. The length is agreed before the night, extra hours included, rather than during it.
Can I hear a mix before booking?
Yes. Released tracks are linked further up this page and are also available on Spotify, Apple Music and Beatport. Full recorded sets are not published here. If none of them quite matches what you are planning, describe the occasion and I will point you at the recording that comes closest.
Do you play at weddings in Mykonos?
Yes, at VIP weddings with an open format: villas, hotels and beach clubs on the island. The drinks, the dinner and the party are prepared separately, and the moments that matter are agreed beforehand with you and with whoever is planning the day.
Do you play classic weddings with a host and karaoke?
No. I am a house DJ, not a wedding host: no games, no karaoke and none of the usual banquet repertoire. If the day calls for that, other colleagues do it far better.
